Story and Strategy Wins Worthy Award at Fort Worth PRSA’s Annual Gala

Fort Worth, Texas – November 10, 2025 – Story and Strategy, a Fort Worth-based public relations and strategic communications firm, won a Worthy Award in the Special Projects category at the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of PRSA's annual gala held Friday, Nov. 7, 2025.

The award-winning entry, the 2025 State of Communications in Dallas-Fort Worth Survey, launched in spring 2025 to elevate the firm's brand and position Story and Strategy as a thought leader in the regional communications industry. The comprehensive 35-question survey captured insights from DFW communications professionals on critical topics including artificial intelligence, work-life balance and working in one of the nation's fastest-growing metropolitan areas.

The initiative delivered a 121% spike in website traffic and a 60% increase in newsletter subscribers. The survey also generated significant business impact, earning Story and Strategy an invitation to present findings at a national workforce conference.

"We're honored to be recognized for this research initiative that not only strengthened our brand but also provided valuable insights into the communications sector in North Texas," said Kim Brown, APR, co-founder of Story and Strategy. "We’re committed to advancing the conversation around the evolving communications landscape and building a stronger professional community here in North Texas."

In addition to the Special Projects win, Story and Strategy took home two Awards of Excellence for client work with Weekend Will and Brand Juice Marketing. The firm's Co-Founder Abigail Hoover was also honored as Volunteer of the Year for the Public Relations Society of America – Southwest District.

The Worthy Awards celebrate excellence in public relations and communications work throughout the Greater Fort Worth region.
